lots of rain and winter weather

Currently the park in our area has been closed. There has been heavy snow in Townsend but less at Tremont. With dropping temps tonight there is more snow predicted so we will not know if and when Tremont road will be open on Friday. Heavy rains since earlier in the week caused a large landslide on 441, taking out part of the road, so the road from Sugarlands to Cherokee is closed until major repairs can be completed. Little River road was closed today as well because of another landslide. The WFR course scheduled to begin on Sunday is still on.
